Sandra Markle is the author of numerous award-winning books for children. A former elementary teacher, she is a nationally known science education consultant and has developed science specials for CNN and PBS and an award-winning, internet-based education program for the National Science Foundation. Markle lives in Florida with her husband, photographer Skip Jeffery.
