Welcome Madison!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team, Madison Stuerman. She will be working with us through the end of April as a Digital Content Intern and will be responsible for drafting original content, managing our social channels, and so much more! I hope you’ll join me in welcoming her to the Travelnitch family.

A Note from Madison:

Hi, my name is Madison Stuerman and I am currently a senior at Southeast Missouri State University, pursuing a degree in Multimedia Journalism. I have lots of experience both in running social media accounts as well as writing a variety of genres and topics. I am super excited to join the team at TravelnItch as it combines two things I love—writing and traveling.

I love travelling and cannot wait to get out and see the world once it is safe to travel recreationally again. My favorite part about traveling is being able to learn the history about so many new places and cultures, along with taking pictures—another thing I love to do.

If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to either Italy or Paris, France. It is too hard to choose! I love both because of their culture and history, however, I love Italian food just a bit more.

I’ve actually been to both countries before. In the past five years I have been lucky enough to have travelled to Europe three times: once when I graduated from high school, again on a trip with my university for two weeks  in January of 2019 and most recently in June 2019. I visited Ireland, Wales, England, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Switzerland.

I’ve seen a lot of this country as well, mainly through the window of a car [or bus]. I am the middle child of three kids and so, when we went on vacation there was an 80% chance that we were driving there. The farthest drive we’ve taken would have to be to Washington to see my grandparents.

I’ve also seen a lot of the country on school trips, including a 20-hour bus ride to Tetons National Park in Wyoming, a 15-hour ride to Florida for marching band, and a 13-hour ride to Washington D.C. for a Presidential inauguration. Of the fifty states in the U.S., I have been to 34 and it’s a goal of mine to see all fifty!

I am extremely lucky to have been given the opportunities that I have and it wouldn’t have been possible [or even a thought] without my parents and all of their love and support.
