Little Passports was among the first to occupy the virtual travel space (for kids) way back in 2009. Their original around-the-world adventure featured a suitcase filled with vibrant colors and ample opportunity to learn about geography, language, and culture.
This humble company was started by two friends who wanted simply to “inspire kids to discover the wonders of this world we share.” It has since grown to include an expansive and (very) inspiring product line moving beyond travel into the worlds of wildlife, cooking, science, and even space.

In 2019, we took a close look at the product that started it all—World Edition (recommended for kids 6+). This popular travel subscription service brings you to a new country each month. Travelnitch kids Evie and Scarlett shared their experience as we worked our way through Japan.
More recently, we went on an animal adventure in the Amazon rainforest. The Animals Wild subscription box (recommended for little explorers aged 3-5) featured a pop-up playground for all of our wild friends and lift-the-flap fun exposing the many secrets of life in the jungle. An interactive game kept the kids entertained and learning as they uncovered fun facts about creatures like the poison dart frog, tamarin, and jaguar.

If exploring the mighty Amazon isn’t enough, continue your adventure each month with a visit to the plains of the Serengeti, take a deep dive into the Pacific Ocean, and wander the woods of Northern Europe. Every play set is packed with opportunities for creative learning to get kids excited about the animal kingdom!
The best part about Little Passports is how easy it is to spend (quality) time learning together. There’s so much to keep you busy, you’ll be surprised at how quickly time flies. Start the fun today with Little Passports Printables, free for everyone—with or without a subscription!
At Travelnitch, we create opportunities for shared learning, so parents and children can explore the world together.
We deliver new and exciting experiences to encourage dialogue and provoke curiosity. For that reason, we have three primary goals: – Strengthen the bond between parent and child through a shared love of travel. – Forge a more meaningful connection between kids and the world around them. – Promote creative learning to inspire a lifelong passion for exploration.
Little Passports review
Travel plays such an important role in our lives. It has the ability to change us for the better. It’s an experiential education that teaches us how to feel, think, act, and react in positive ways. Travel fosters creativity, builds confidence, and teaches us all to be more tolerant. My own kids benefit from travel every time we hit the open road. No amount of money can buy those life lessons.
Travelnitch is inspiring the next generation of explorers. We believe travel is a wonderful way to ignite the imagination and get kids excited about the world. However, we need your help to make this possible. Please spread the word and support our efforts to raise citizens of the world. Let’s go on this adventure together!
