Cinematic Places

About the Book
Cinematic Places showcases the global, and often unforgettable, backdrop of 25 very memorable films. Through pictures and text, the book provides a closer look at these visually compelling hotspots—places like Sweden, India, and Peru—and explains how they (and their culture) inspired filmmakers.
I really like the way the author discusses the significance of the locations to the events of the film itself. She artistically weaves together storylines or action scenes in the movie with vivid descriptions of the real-life settings.
This book prompts young readers to think more deeply about places that play such a critical role in these iconic films. It draws attention to many visual details that a viewer might not otherwise consider, to better understand how the setting contributes to the overall magic of a motion picture.
Many exotic, unique or historically relevant places are featured in this book. Seeing pictures of these sites and learning more about them may just give your kids the push they need to begin asking questions about the world around them.

Travel plays such an important role in our lives. It has the ability to change us for the better. It’s an experiential education that teaches us how to feel, think, act, and react in positive ways. Travel fosters creativity, builds confidence, and teaches us all to be more tolerant. My own kids benefit from travel every time we hit the open road. No amount of money can buy those life lessons.
Travelnitch is inspiring the next generation of explorers. We believe travel is a wonderful way to ignite the imagination and get kids excited about the world. However, we need your help to make this possible. Please spread the word and support our efforts to raise citizens of the world. Let’s go on this adventure together!
