With nicer weather on its way, a recent request from Activ Life to sample some new products was a welcomed distraction from home school. As a camping family, I was especially excited about the Activ Lites. These LED wheel lights are perfect for keeping tabs on my kids when they’re riding around our campsite (or driveway) at night.
The only downside I found was the time required to install them—having to weave them in and out of the tire spokes is not for the faint of heart. However, once attached they are super easy to turn on and off with the touch of a button, giving you the choice between solid or blinking lights. Running on standard batteries (which are included), Activ Lites come in eight different colors.
Little did I know, the Activ Flyer rings would be just as much fun. I’m not a frisbee person. Translation: I can’t throw a frisbee to save my life, but these lightweight rings are easy to throw and even easier to catch—lessening the risk of a concussion when my Popeye strength sends it hurtling towards my five year old’s face. The best part is they take up virtually no space and will keep your kids happy for quite some time as they uncover new ways to catch them without using their hands!

While I did not have to pay for these sample products, I certainly won’t hesitate to purchase an additional 2-pack so we can light up the rear bike wheels too. Both products are well made, fun to use and a great value and it’s nice knowing my purchase will support a small family-owned business.
Thanks Activ Life, and keep up the great work!
